I'm so happy we were in the area to have lunch today. We split the Saul burger , it was delicious except the bottom pretzel bun was black and burned , not what I expected for $18.00 burger , I did not send it back because it still was good and I did not want to wait. The French fries were perfect. We followed with funnel cake fries , so good ,but half order would be better. The service was not good , I had to wait several times for a water refill .

I've lived in Corpus for a year but just recently heard about this place. Very good atmosphere, great service and excellent food. Looking forward to visiting more often to try other items on the menu. Appetizer: Bacon wrapped duck diablo - jalapenos and duck breast wrapped in bacon, served with a pomegranate gastrique and mango salsa. This spot was featured on a video in the "Texas Bucket list" series online and gathered our interest. The restaurant was spacy and had a nice vibe with a huge selection of drinks at the bar. Sadly, I'm not much of a drinker, but a cool asthetic nonetheless. My wife and I ordered the Heisenburger along with their Philly cheesesteak eggrolls. The eggrolls came out hot and fresh, and were also a decent volume of food for the price. Sadly, the dish was mediocre. Oddly, this joint chooses to drizzle Asian chili sauce on top of the eggrolls without the choice of it being on the side. The sauce was sweet and just didn't make sense with the dish in our opinion and felt more like an afterthought. Maybe do a house sauce on the side instead or heck, even some cheese whiz. The burgers were meh as well. The burger comes to you undressed, with the vegetables on the side. If I wanted to dress my own burger, I would of made one at home.. The burger itself was moist but the meat severely lacked seasoning. Salt and pepper would of sufficed! The brioche bun also seemed to have been from a grocery store. That is a big letdown, as the video we saw had the restaurant using homemade brioche buns. In the end, this joint is just another add on to the list of mediocrity that these beach cities have to offer in terms of food joints. CAUTION, non-cash paying customers will have to pay an automatic 3% fee on top of their check. Service was okay, but our waitress in particular wasn't very accommodating. We will not return. 2.5/5

Went for lunch on a Saturday. Parking was easy and there was plenty of available seating. My wife and I got the Saul Goodman burger and split it. It was a large burger that was cooked very well except the bottom bun was burnt. Other than the burnt bun it was a very good burger and we loved the fries. We finished off with the funnel cake fries. Those were delicious but it comes out as a family order, it is huge and more for 3 or 4 people than 2. They should offer a 1/2 portion. Even though the place didn’t have many people there, it was a long time between visits by the server.

Was there 12/2/23 at 5:30. Only a few tables with patrons and yet our food took almost 45 minutes to come out. Our waitress was not attentive at all. I ordered fish & chips which were 4 small pieces (approx 5-6” long) that were greasy and not hot. The fries were cold. My friend ordered a chicken breast sandwich on cornbread. The bread was not cornbread. When she ate the 2d half of her sandwich she noticed a strange texture so she looked and the h chicken was raw. The owner came over and told us that it wasn’t raw, but it was thigh meat that was in a pink brine and not to worry.

The cocktails are very well made I had 7 different and if that was my only order id give a 5 star service excellent until the food.There #1 burger order med.came too me dry very over cooked 1 bite and done awful not a fresh meat blend ..The pork belly a bit tough but as a whole very good with that sauce I'd try again and hope its cooked too tenderness. I will try again for cocktails for sure but never a burger
